Omega XL is a very visible joint supplement in the marketplace. Extensive TV advertisements and other media adds fuel to their online presence. According to reports, the sales volume of Omega XL is rising, however the reviews of consumers and the complaints board websites tell a much more concerning story.

In order the set the record straight, we thought we would take a thorough look at Omega XL and publish our review and report of this joint supplement. After doing our research and investigation, we came to 2 Conclusions about Omega XL.

1. Omega XL Provides Incomplete or Limited Joint Pain Relief

Omega XL joint supplement is named because of the fact that it contains Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Fish oil, which can be harvested from a number of sources as well as manufactured in a lab, although Omega XL claims it is harvested from the “green lipped muscles of New Zealand”. The notion that Omega 3’s perform any differently in your body because they are from New Zealand is comical, even misleading if we are being honest. However, there is plenty of information which documents numerous health benefits of Omega 3’s, one of which applies to joint health…inflammation. Continue reading

TFX Flex Reviews Company Uses Misleading Scientific Info for Profit

This is a report of our findings on TFX Flex, not a review or our personal opinion.  Based upon our research of the brand, its ingredients and the opinions of their consumers, we have compiled the following report to speed your research and to highlight any interesting findings; both positive and negative.

TFX Flex Reviews how the company is a relative new comer to the joint supplements tfx-flex-reviewsmarketplace, however the formula and active ingredients TFX Flex contains are NOT new.  UC II Collagen products can be found everywhere nowadays, however most are priced cheaper than TFX Flex.  Our reviews examined not only the effectiveness of the product, but also the striking similarities between TFX Flex products and other joint supplements on the market.  Experts site concerns specifically about their misleading use of a study they claim “proves” their product is 2x more effective than Glucosamine and Chondroitin.

TFX Flex is counting on the fact that consumers take these statements as fact without looking further into the claims.  There is evidence that UC II can be effective in easing joint discomfort, however their claims that it is better than glucosamine and chondroitin relies upon very low concentrations of glucosamine and chondroitin, much lower than typical joint supplements contain. In addition, they compare UC II Collagen to glucosamine HCl, which has proven to be far less effective than glucosamine sulfate. (source) This is nothing more than a marketing ploy, one in which TFX Flex hopes to convince consumers their product is a “breakthrough.”  In reality, there are a host of UC II Collagen based joint supplements on the market, some of which consumers have reported having been ripped off!  (source)

The joint supplement industry is one where nearly every company is claiming to have the latest “breakthrough” or “discovery.”  These companies are hoping that if they dish out enough “sizzle” enough consumers will buy the product, or better yet sign up for their automatic delivery via a “free trial.”

As many of you know these free trials are seldom free and true to form, when you examine the fine print on TFX Flex website you can see they intend to charge you for the product and subsequent deliveries each month.  While this is not uncommon within the industry, we recommend you use caution when signing up for any offers of this nature!!

Let’s address the science for a minute.  Yes, UC II collagen has proven to be mildly effective in reducing joint discomfort, however it does nothing to prevent further or reverse existing degeneration of the joint.  Glucosamine comes in a number of varieties, most commonly Glucosamine HCL and Glucosamine Sulfate.  Glucosamine Sulfate has the more established results and in high enough concentration, it is proven to be highly effective.  FTX Flex would have you believe that UC II out performs ALL types of glucosamine regardless of concentration, and that simply is not true.  In addition, the study the company sites only examined hip and knee joint pain, examined a very small number of people and was conducted in a foreign country with different standards than we have in the US.

Overall FTX Flex Review and Report

FTX Flex is joined up with GNC as a partner, which made us even more surprised at the marketing approach.  We understand that as a company they want to make money, but when your marketing information could potentially be construed as misleading consumers, it is  a large price to pay.  Showing small fractions of research that only tell a limited version of the entire story, is not exclusive to FTX Flex but it bothers us enough to recommend you pass on this joint pill.

FTX Flex may be the joint supplement you have been waiting for, but if it is so wonderful, why do they take these kinds of advertising ploys?  Why not let the product stand on its own?

We recommend you use caution before making any purchases or signing up for any deals.  As a new company there is only limited information from their customers available and most of the info out there on the company, was released by TFX Flex in a press release, so it is difficult to trust the validity of these claims.

Now Joint Support Reports Say Pill Leaves Essential Ingredients Out

This is a report of our findings on Now Joint Support, not a review or our personal opinion.  Based upon our research of the brand, its ingredients and the opinions of their consumers, we have compiled the following report to speed your research and to highlight any interesting findings; both positive and negative.

Our Now Joint Support Reviews started by examining claims that this joint support formula now-joint-support-reviewsis incomplete.  Now Joint Support uses a number of ingredients, too many of them to discuss in detail here, however very few ingredients pertain specifically to joint health.

Now Joint Support uses Glucosamine HCl as its primary active ingredient, and while we prefer glucosamine sulfate due to the results of clinical studies, it is better to have some glucosamine than none at all.  We were a bit shocked, however, to see that even Now Joint Support manufacturers claim it needs to be taken along with Hyaluronic Acid for best results. This is a report of our findings on Supple, not a review or our personal opinion.  Based upon our research of the brand, its ingredients and the opinions of their consumers, we have compiled the following report to speed your research and to highlight any interesting findings; both positive and negative.

Our Supple Reviews and Report was actually very surprising to us.  Supple is a joint

supple-reviewssupplement drink that combines Glucosamine and Chondroitin in an effort to restore proper joint health.  Supple has been on the market a few years, and as is the case with other anti inflammatory drinks and joint supplements, they have been promising consumers huge results.

Supple offers consumers anywhere from a month to a month and a half worth of joint supplement drink.  Most options come with automatic billing and shipping, which can be a real benefit as long as modifying or canceling is easy.  Our Supple Report, however, discovered that customers of Supple say canceling automatic delivery is difficult and that the product just does not work!
